Well now this is a trip, editing the blog on ipad

Well, it's been a long hard winter. The last thing I did on the bike was run home winterize it. As the December 19, 2009 storm started I realized that I had no antifreeze in the bike! I'd removed it so I could use the head gasket sealer. The thermostat was also removed. I was hoping that I could keep the bike running long enough to get the antifreeze throughout the engine. We'll have to see.

I spoke to my friend Billy (Earl) a master of all things mechanical about the bike. He said that the last thing to do was tear into the carbs and try to rebuild them. This was reassuring, however, it leaves me at a point where I don't know what to do on the bike. I asked him if he'd be willing to take a look at it and he said sure. That just leaves finding a time to do it.
